Seit mehr als 25 Jahren sind wir in diesem sehr schön gelegenen Restaurant zu Gast – wobei der Begriff „Gast“ hier eine ganz neue Bedeutung bekommt!
Dinko und Niksa (sowie die gesamte Familie) verstehen es zu 100 %, allen Besuchern ihres Restaurants den Aufenthalt so angenehm zu gestalten, dass man gar nicht mehr gehen möchte! Wie oft saßen wir noch bis in die Nacht dort … den hausgemachten Wein genießend und die Speisekarte „rauf & runter“ essend … es gab im vergangenen VIERTELJAHRHUNDERT absolut nichts zu bemängeln – außer dem einen und/oder anderen DUMM-Nörgel-Touristen … aber die gibt es bekanntlich überall!
Das Ambiente dieses Restaurants könnte schöner nicht sein – penibel gepflegt und mit viel Liebe dekoriert ist es für uns tatsächlich eine der letzten Bastionen HVAR’s, in denen man sich vorbehaltlos wohlfühlen kann! Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und Qualität sind stimmig – satt werden ist obligat! Wenn ich nur an die Muscheln denke, läuft mir das Wasser im Munde zusammen … oder die Spaghetti mit dem guten Olivenöl … oder aber Hummer, bzw. Languste – wahrlich gibt es nichts, was es hier nicht gibt! (M)eine persönliche Vorliebe ist es, in Restaurants auch mal Sachen zu bestellen, die NICHT auf der Karte stehen … selbst hierbei sind wir NIE enttäuscht worden!!
Hunde sind nicht gern gesehen in dieser wundervollen Bucht – für „Dosenöffner“ also (fast) ein „Problemchen“! Aber ich habe oft Hunde gesehen, die brav bei den „Besitzern“ lagen IM Restaurant – nur am Badestrand also sollten die Vierbeiner nicht rumspringen …
Kostenlose & dem Restaurant nahe Parkplätze sind reichlich vorhanden, aber mit einem normalen PKW ein wenig schwer zu erreichen, die „Straße“ dorthin muss man schon be-, bzw „erfahren“ können! Man kann aber das Auto in Milna parken und den schönen Weg durch das Camping-Areal nach Mala Milna laufen – ein Fußweg von nur wenigen Minuten und durchaus Appetit anregend!
Nachtrag 2022: Der Campingplatz gleicht nun einer FESTUNG … komplett eingezäunt und Video-überwacht … was die geritten hat: KEINE AHNUNG! Der Weg nach Mala Milna wird im Augenblick hergestellt – hoffentlich erweist sich dies nicht als Nachteil für Familie Tudor!!

My personal preference is to order things in restaurants sometimes that are NOT on the menu … even this I have NEVER been disappointed!
Dogs are not welcome in this wonderful bay – for „can opener“ so (almost) a „problem“! Free and the restaurant near parking are plentiful, but with a normal car a little difficult to reach, the „road“ there you have to be-or „experienced“! But you can park the car in Milna and walk the beautiful path through the camping area to Mala Milna – a walk of only a few minutes and quite appetizing!
